Llanelli & District Model Engineers will be hosting it’s Annual Autumn Rail and Road Steam Rally at Pembrey Country Park over the weekend of the 28th & 29th of September 2019.
The event which has grown significantly over the last few years, is now becoming a major event in the national vintage calendar . This is largely due to the warm welsh welcome, it’s location within the Country Park which enables the road vehicles to drive around and also the excellent facilities that the miniature railway has available for the visiting locomotives and their drivers.
This year, the rally will include a larger number of exhibits from all over the UK and Ireland in all of the sections, including Steam, Diesel and Electric Trains running on both our ground level and raised tracks giving passenger rides on both days. On the rally fields will be Miniature Steam Traction Engines and lorries, vintage cars, military vehicles, commercials, tractors, farm machinery, motorcycles, classic bus trips around the park fair rides, trade stands, chainsaw carving, woodturning and other craft stalls. All of this and on site catering make it a great day out for the whole family.
